Kosovo inspired

About half a year after retiring I relocated to Kosovo where I had worked shortly after the end of the war and where members of my tribe owe a house near Pristina. I started painting oils showing, the grand mosque of Pristina, Kosovar interiors, figures from the league of Prizren as well as winter and spring bouquets. This collection is growing as we speak. So stay tuned.

Autumn on Rruga Nënë Tereza

This oils shows a rainy day in Prishtinë. On Rruga Nënë Thereza, a giant painting of Ibrahim Rugova keeps a benevolent eye on passers-by. Autumn has arrived and illuminates the trees of its colourful palette.

Abdyl Frashëri

This oil copies a painting of Abdyl Frashëri, one of the leaders of the League of Prizren exhibited in the museum of the League. With thanks to our friend Shefqet for a wonderful visit in February 2025.
