Kosovo inspired
About half a year after retiring I relocated to Kosovo where I had worked shortly after the end of the war and where members of my tribe owe a house near Pristina. I started painting oils showing, the grand mosque of Pristina, Kosovar interiors, figures from the league of Prizren as well as winter and spring bouquets. This collection is growing as we speak. So stay tuned.

Albanian & Dutch Girls in NY
This oil was painted in February 2026 in Kosovo.
Inspired by the visit of Tina, Nora and their friend Evelyn in NY. The painting shows a street in lower east side. In fact, the girls have just arrived in front of Maxi Fish. However since the oil is to be exhibited in Pizza Crust, Sunny Hill, Pristina, I changed the name of the shop.

Autumn on Rruga Nënë Tereza
This oils shows a rainy day in Prishtinë. On Rruga Nënë Thereza, a giant painting of Ibrahim Rugova keeps a benevolent eye on passers-by. Autumn has arrived and illuminates the trees of its colourful palette.
