I painted this oil during a summer in Normandy. This is an imaginary garden inspired by many that I saw when I was younger. For some reason I couldn't finish it until recently.

Nana was my mother's oldest friend in the village of Creances were we settled in 1982. Her jardin de curé was always a source of discovery.

This oil was shows a view of my friend's garden in a small village of Cotentin located by the coast facing Jerzey and Guernezey islands.

I painted this oil during my time in Bosnia & Herzegovina in the late 90's. It was the view from my friend Michelle in Sarajevo near the Swiss residence.

I painted this oil during my time in Phnom Penh. While working during the week at the Khmer Rouge Tribunal I explored the Cambodian country side during my free time. In order to best represent the bright colours of nature I diluted the oil more than usual almost like watercolours.
