09 Recycling
Inspired by our visit to Dominique's atelier in Urville-Naqueville and her wonderful fishes, Rizah and I started collecting driftwood and waste deposited by the tide as well as second hand metal and leather. Our magic touch : necklaces and other costume jewellery brought back from my stay in Cambodia.
Rust and sea foam
This is the first fish Rizah and I created, made from the bottom of a large rusty metal barrel. This fish proudly wears a collar that evokes sea foam on its coral fin.
This is not a can of sardines!
This fish is made of driftwood, lids from cans of sardines and a recycled turquoise leather bag.
Pilot fish
This pilot fish is the latest addition to the collection of recycled fish to jump into the Atelier 2.0 pool. It proudly sports a green Yves St. Laurent earring for an eye.
